African Exposure strives to protect the integrity of local communities and the environment in which it conducts its operations. It is our duty to make your experience and the interactions that occur between you and your host destination as positive as possible for all concerned.

In carrying out this responsibility we try as far as practical to use locally owned transport, accommodation, guiding services and restaurants at fair prices and educate our guides and tour leaders on managing meaningful interactions between differing cultures and environmental protection. Through detailed pre-travel communications, we encourage participants to conduct their trip in a manner that is conscious of local culture and customs and that reduces the impact on locations visited.

We actively support the work of social and environmental upliftment agencies in South Africa and assist programme participants should they wish to contribute further to these organisations during or after their travels.
